The study on the packaging for our products arose from the need to ship products by sea to international customers. See transport requires particular care to preserve the gear racks from corrosion, oxidation, and possible rust. 

Typically, the habit is to pack each gear rack separately, but our team at Molinati took action to find more effective alternative solutions.

After several attempts, we reached the best technical, economic, logistical, and ecological compromise.

This solution brings several advantages, such as:

• Packing up to 4 gear racks module 3.0 or 9 gear racks module 1.5;
• The time for handling the gear racks is reduced compared to single packaging;
• The volume of packed parts is only 10% higher than that without packaging;
• The material used is resistant to weathering and chemicals, waterproof, and long-lasting.

The material used is eco-friendly, recyclable, and reusable.  

Since this material is waterproof, it is not necessary to use other layers of packaging. Therefore, the packaging is made of a single recyclable material. This involves:

• Fewer materials used;
• Easier disposal.
